Process Overview

Axiom Account Integration Services has a proprietary and proven geo-coding technology to match your accounts to any industry data set you need a cross walk to. We currently match to GLN, HIM, DEA, NPI, Medicare ID, GPO IDs, Distributor IDs as well all Government IDs.

Our process begins with our automated matching engine that will begin searching for your accounts using advanced pattern recognition and geo-coding technology. The match percentage from this initial auto match greatly depends on 3 factors;

  • How current, accurate and embedded identifiers in your file are
  • How complete the file is with accurate fields for Name, Address, City, State, Zip, Phone, Fax
  • How accurate the Class of Trade designation is and the number of different classes used

The Axiom auto-match produces a file that marks each record as one of 4 possible outcomes;

  • Exact 1 to 1 Match
  • 1 to Many Match
  • 1 to Possible Match
  • No Match

Once the entire set has been through auto-match, manual-match and Quality Assurance, all new data fields are added to the file. This is where Axiom truly makes the Account Integration Process and value added process not just simply making your company compliant.

Now that we have all your records matched, we can add IDN, GPO, RPC relationships. Or demographics like beds, procedures or admissions. Contact your Axiom representative today to understand the possibilities of integrating your accounts with any of the data available on The MAX.

Exact 1 to 1 Match

When an Exact 1 to 1 Match is found, we believe we have a direct correlation between accounts. This is what we strive for in the matching process. The more of these we find, the better. The Exact Match subset then is processed in our Quality Assurance process where a statistically significant sample is visually review by one of our Industry Analysts.

1 to Many Match

When a record is indicated to be a 1 to Many Match it is not necessarily a bad outcome. In fact, this match often adds great visibility to the supplier. Often this type of match gives the supplier the opportunity to have their customer record point to all facilities associated with the GLN (or other identifier). For example, a customer master number for an IDN then would have all GLNs associated with at the same physical location. The 1 to Many Match subset then is processed in our Quality Assurance process where a statistically significant sample is visually reviewed by one of our Industry Analysts.

All 1 to Many Match indicated records are review by an Industry Analyst visually to make sure there are not erroneous results that could occur as a result of incorrect matching data in the customer master file.

1 to Possible Match

1 to Possible Matches usually happen when a common address or phone used for different locations of facilities is owned by one organization. All 1to Possible Match indicated records are reviewed by an Industry Analyst visually to determine the best possible match or matches. The 1 to Possible Match subset then is processed in our Quality Assurance process where a statistically significant sample is visually reviewed by one of our Industry Analysts.

No Match

The No Match subset then is processed in our Quality Assurance process, where a statistically significant sample is visually reviewed by one of our Industry Analysts.
